A tractor trailor accident in Halifax County has left two people dead.
Twenty-five year old Terry Morrell Anderson and 24-year-old Jeremy Levelle
Ferrell, both of Halifax, were killed when their pickup truck became trapped
under the trailer's rear wheels.
The accident happened at about 9-30 at the intersection of U-S 3-60 and
route 7-16.
State Police are still investigating the crash-- no charges have been filed
at this time.

molestation reported to the Pittsylvania County Sheriff's Department.
The following two years the case load remained about the same.
But all that changed this past fiscal year, when some 50- cases were

Two teenagers remain hospitalized this morning with serious injuries
following an accident in Botetourt County yesterday.

It happened at about two o'clock on Route 43 between Eagle Rock and
Buchanan.
State police say the driver of a pickup truck lost control as it was coming
around a curve, and ran off the road into a field.
The driver was thrown from the truck.
He and the passenger were taken by Lifeguard 10 to Roanoke Memorial
Hospital.
State police are not releasing the names, since they are juveniles.
