The popular head coach turned 60 on April Fools day this year, and some of his peers in the coaching ranks believe he's been thinking about retirement for past several months.
Ironically, Foster came out of retirement to take over the Tech program in 1991. In five years his teams have won over 80 games, an NIT Championship and an NCAA tournament invitation. He also won his 500 career game last season in New Orleans.
Foster has made no secret that he would like for current assistant Bobby Hussey to succeed him at Tech.
