A Riner man has died as a result of a vehicle accident on Friday.
21- year- old Anthony Long died yesterday morning at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
On Friday, Long drove his car off route 6-58 into a creek, killing his passenger 16-year-old Susan Meadows.

This time Fran didn't pack the WALLOP city officials expected.

He received several bullet wounds to his chest last night.

Shakur and a record company executive were shot in a car in Las Vegas as they rode in a ten car convoy.
They were apparently headed to a nightclub after watching the Mike Tyson heavyweight fight when a white Cadillac pulled alongside and riddled the car with bullets.
It's the second time the rapper has been shot.
In November 1994, Shakur was shot five times in the lobby of a Manhattan recording studio.

The no-fly zone was extended by President Bill Clinton last Wednesday on the second day of U-S cruise missile attacks in the area.
