Hurricane Fran's death toll in Virginia has risen to 11.
Two people died as the result of a car accident on Friday.
21- year- old Anthony Long drove his car off route 6-58, resulting in the
death of his passenger, 16-year old Susan Meadows.
Long died yesterday morning at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
And a Gretna man died Saturday when his car was swept into flood waters.
John Perkins' car was found near a bridge on business Route 29 North.

High waters tore up roads and left many homeless.

A 36-year-old man is dead after a single vehicle accident in Rockbridge
County last night.
Mark David Chavez of Forest was killed when the car he was riding in ran off
Route 11.
Police say the car drove up an embankment and overturned several times.
Both Chavez and the driver, Michael Todd Powell, were thrown from the
vehicle.
Powell was admitted to Stonewall Jackson Hospital, but his condition is not
being released.

Investigator A- C Holland thinks the blaze might have been caused by faulty
