The planes were missed, but now the U-S is building its air forces in the
Persian Gulf region.

The FDA regulations still face legal challenges.
Police fanned out in Pulaski County this morning arresting 31 people on drug
The suspects face a total of 55 charges, including distribution of crack,
marijuana, meth-amphetamine and various prescription drugs.
The undercover operation began in January and targeted street dealers, as
well as mid-level suppliers-
Police say most of the suspects bring drugs into the county from other areas.

Hurricane Hortense is gaining strength after leaving death and destruction
in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
The storm dumped heavy rain in the Dominican Republic- leaving streets and

Two people were killed in the Dominican Republican- ten in Puerto Rico.
Hortense is now moving Northwest packing 105 mile an hour winds.
It's expected to strike the Bahamas later today.

Grey is also battling Libertarian candidate Jay Rutledge for the sixth
Erik and Lyle Menendez have parted ways.
Despite their wishes, the brothers are being transferred to separate prisons

Nearly 900 patients with high blood pressure were divided in half.
Only 14 patients taking a standard drug called a diuretic suffered adverse
events compared to 25 patients taking isradipine, a calcium channel blocker.
The manufacturer says the drug is safe and effective with an extremely
small risk of causing only chest pain.
The National Institutes of Health disagrees.

As Hurricane Fran inflicted major damage on Virginia, it also washed away a
piece of Campbell County history.

The old covered bridge near Marysville had withstood wind and rain for
almost 120 years, it was the second oldest such bridge in the state.

before it was washed downstream by the floodwaters.
All that's left now are some stone abutments and memories.
