Forecasters say the storm will likely miss the U-S by making a turn to the
northeast.

The Virginia Supreme Court has upheld a ban on public fishing along a
stretch of the Jackson River.
In a ruling issued today, the court said several landowners along 17 miles
of the river have exclusive fishing rights.
The court agreed with the landowners that the grants from the king of
England before the Revolution give them the right to control access to the
river.
A guide from Charlottesville had challenged the ban, after he was arrested
while fishing on the river four years ago.
