Three people are dead after a two vehicle accident in Halifax County last night.
It happened on Route 58 at the intersection of Route 9-29.
Police say 16-year-old Robert Earl Crowe of Halifax was driving down route 9-29.
As he turned on to Route 58 another vehicle broadsided his car.
Crowe died at the scene.
His passengers, 23-year-old Julia O'Steen Jones and one- year- old Miranda Blair Jones, both of South Boston, also died at the scene.

These hot spots are preventing the county fire investigating team from looking over the debris.
Fairlawn fire chief Buddy Trigg says it may be Tuesday or Wednesday before investigators can take a look.
Trigg also says a crane will be used to removed the collapsed roof so investigators can determine where the blaze began.

Payne is retiring from the U-S Congress after serving there for the last eight years.
He has spent several months traveling the state in an effort to gauge support for a possible run.
More than 90 of the state's 130 Democratic Party chairmen have endorsed Payne for the nomination.

Governor George Allen and other state officials are facing an international lawsuit.
They are being sued by the Republic of Paraguay... because a Paraguayan national is on death row.
The suit says the officials failed to follow treaty rules when foreign nationals are charged in the U-S.
It alleges the state violated international treaties in regards to Angel Francisco Breard.
Breard is on Virginia's Death Row for the 19-92 murder of Ruth Dickie in Arlington.

The 76-mile pipeline is designed to pump up to 60 MILLION gallons of water a day to Virginia Beach from Lake Gaston on the Virginia-North Carolina border.
North Carolina wants to have some say over the project but Virginia argues that's not necessary because the pipeline takes water only north of the state line.

Anorexia Nervosa is a complex disorder involving both emotional and physical problems.
Once the starving ritual has begun chemical changes take place in the brain.
The nureotransmitter, serotonin, among other things regulates appetite and weight.

The tight-lipped chain based in Danville said in a terse statement that it has agreed to sell a majority of its stock to Belk, a fellow retailer out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
Checking the major financial markets for the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and Nasdaq finished well on the upside, with the Dow actually closing in record territory.

The Rick Hendrick cars of Terry Labonte and Jeff Gordon took turns leading the race in the first 40 laps Gordon moves to the front on this pass.
Then on lap 91 Hut Stricklin gets to high on the track he hits the wall bringing out the third caution of the afternoon.
Ernie Irvan was the leader on lap 317 of the race and he was pulling away from the field. But he runs up on Derrike Cope the rear end of his car gets lose causing him to spin out and hit the wall bringing out the caution. Irvan led 47 laps.
Mark Martin would lead the race for the second time with 267 to go and he was the leader of the race at the half way point.
Dale Earnhardt moved the Goodwrench chevy to third place but he had tires problems that ripped the sheet metal off the right rear of his car bringing out another caution.
Gordon came back to lead the race with 142 laps still to go to the finish.
Then Tempers flared near the end. Jimmy spencer and Wally Dallenbach get together causing a crash involving several cars with 44 laps to go. Spencer jumped out of car and has to be restrained as he want after Dallenbach who was still in his car.
Gordon, who always runs well at Dover, made his move at the right time and he wins the MBNA 500 at the Monster Mile.
