State police say 31- year- old Hong Lang Hu (WHO) apparently lost control of his vehicle while traveling north in Botetourt County.
Authorities say Hu crossed the median and struck another car head- on-- killing that driver.
Hu was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for facial injuries.
He's charged with reckless driving.
Both drivers are from Pennsylvania.

Calvin Powers, who owns the Carpet Shop and Powers Fence says he'll reopen both businesses in an office building next to the one that burned on route 11.
And a spokesman for Schewel's says the furniture store will open a customer service office there as well.
Schewel's is looking for temporary space to reopen its STORE in Radford or Fairlawn within the next few weeks.
The fire nearly leveled the entire shopping center Saturday. Still no word on how it started.

A Bedford County court will hear the case of a German diplomat's son who is serving two life terms for the murders of his former girlfriend's parents.
Attorneys for Jens Soering contend that prosecutors withheld evidence at his 1990 trial. Soering is seeking a new trial.
Derek and Nancy Haysom were stabbed to death at their home in 1987.

Help is on the way for Virginia's flood victims.
The government has approved more than 300 applications from Virginians, so far, for disaster housing assistance resulting from Hurricane Fran.

Among those applying are residents in the hard-hit areas of South Boston and Danville.

Officials say it usually takes 15 to 20 days for applicants to get their checks after they apply.
