afternoon.
Around 5 o-clock, a white male robbed the Signet Bank on East Stuart Drive.
The suspect handed the teller a note and demanded money.
He fled the scene in a four- door Dodge or Chrysler, with an undisclosed
amount of cash.
No one was injured.
The man is described as six feet tall, weighing around 210 pounds.
Federal, state, and local authorities are investigating.

The new restaurant is expected to hire at least 70 people locally.

Richard Petty's Interstate traveling troubles are apparently over.

Last week the King was involved in an incident on 85 near Kannapolis, North
Carolina.
Petty was accused of bumping the rear end of a truck driven by James
Rassette, and then driving away.
Today the hit and run charge was dropped and Petty pled guilty to a following
