Police are on the lookout for a man who held up a bank in Galax this afternoon.
Around 5 o-clock, a white male robbed the Signet Bank on East Stuart Drive.
The suspect handed the teller a note and demanded money.
He fled the scene in a four- door Dodge or Chrysler, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
No one was injured.
The man is described as six feet tall, weighing around 210 pounds.
Federal, state, and local authorities are investigating.

The new restaurant is expected to hire at least 70 people locally.

But this night would belong to Sara Moore who picked up the slack in Hicks absence scoring a game high 29 points on a menagerie of shots.
