The federal government says it's approved applications for more than one million dollars in disaster housing assistance.
The money will pay for rental housing or emergency repairs to make a home livable again.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency says more than 100 people in Danville and Pittsylvania County alone will be getting help.
Some of the FEMA regional offices, such as the one in Danville, have now closed.
But people can still apply for help, by calling FEMA's toll free number: 1-800-462-9029.

Last year in the trucks' inaugural appearance at Martinsville, rain forced the event to be moved to Monday morning and as a result most folks failed to make it back to the track.
