Traffic was tied up for hours after a tractor trailer overturned on Interstate 81 in Botetourt County this afternoon.

The rig was pulling two trailers when the driver apparently lost control and crashed in the median near Troutville.
The accident happened around three O'clock, in the North bound lane.
One of the trailers flipped on its side, the other overturned on its top.
Traffic was backed up for at least four miles.
The driver was hurt, but his injuries did not appear serious.
State Police are still investigating.

An early morning accident in Halifax County has killed a 37- year old man from Gladys.
Police say Johnny Otis Saint John was driving on route 6-36, just east of route 501, when he lost control of his vehicle.
The car slid off the road and overturned landing in a nearby cemetary.
The accident happened at 12-45 this morning.
Saint John died at the scene.
