It happened this morning in Rosendale, Wisconsin- 70 miles north of
Four of the dead were in the smashed car- one of those was a seven year old
One person in the school bus was also killed-
It was foggy out- The bus had stopped to pick up children.
One man's daughter saw what happened.

Eleven children- ages seven to fifteen- were taken to the hospital where
they were treated and released.
Two adults are hositalized in stable condition.
Police are trying to find four men who allegedly gang-raped a Roanoke woman
after threatening her son's life.
The woman told investigators she got a phone call yesterday afternoon telling
her to go to a middle-school track if she wanted to see her son alive.
She says four masked men grabbed her, took her to a wooded area, then raped
The victim said that during the attack, the men talked about an ongoing
domestic problem in which she was involved.
Police later discovered that the woman's 13-year-old son wasn't abducted.
Ross Perot is going to court to try to get in on the Presidential debates.
Perot filed a federal lawsuit today to prevent any debates that exclude

It was last week that the Presidential Debates Commission recommended Perot
be kept out of the Debates because it said he did not have a chance at winning.
A LOCAL reform party candidate may be excluded from a possible
congressional debate in the Ninth District.
Congressman Rick Boucher says his staff is negotiating a debate with
Republican challenger Patrick Muldoon.
But the plans do not include independent Tom Roberts.

Muldoon says he'll gladly include Roberts, but doesn't mind leaving him out
if that's what it takes to schedule a debate with BOUCHER.
Roberts says he's notified Boucher and Muldoon that he DOES want to
participate in a debate.
Boucher was in Blacksburg today so a a special commission he created could
announce its recommendations for the future of Southwest Virginia.
The commission has worked the last year to identify goals for the region.
They include ideas for education, economic development, transportation,
tourism and environmental improvements.

Russia's Communists are demanding that Yeltsin step down if he can't have

Yesterday, leading Virginia Democrats met and discussed strategy for
avoiding a landslide John Warner victory.
Democratic State Chairwoman Sue Wrenn says she senses no urgency among

For the second time in four months, a body's been discovered along a
roadside near Culpeper.
The body was found yesterday morning near Lignum.
A police source says it appears the victim died in a brutal manner.
State police are investigating-- but aren't releasing the victim's name or
cause of death.
In May, the body of Alicia Showalter Reynolds was discovered along U-S 29
Police believe she stopped for a man who convinced her something was wrong
with her car.
State police say it's too early to tell whether the two deaths are related.

Week four in the NFl comes to close tonight as the Dolphins take on the Colts
Last night the Eagles crushed the Falcons 33-to-18 in a game in which Jeff
George had a run-in with Atlanta coach June Jones.
This afternoon Jones suspended George from the team and kicked him out of
practice saying he will review his status by the middle of the week.
