A Bedford County Sheriff's Deputy totaled his cruiser last night.
Mark Dooley was responding to a domestic dispute when he rounded a sharp
curve, lost control and totaled the car.
It happened on Route ONE-22 just outside Bedford city limits.
Dooley's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
He's being treated at Carilion Bedford Memorial Hospital.
State police are investigating due to the nature of the accident.

A tractor trailer accident in Botetourt County tied up traffic on northbound
Interstate 81 for three hours Sunday afternoon.

The rig was pulling two trailers when the driver apparently lost control and
crashed in the median near Troutville.
One of the trailers flipped on its side, the other overturned on its top.
Traffic was backed up for at least four miles.
The driver was hurt, but his injuries did not appear serious.
State Police are still investigating.
