Supporters of a ban on so-called partial birth abortions vow they'll wage
another Congressional fight next year.
Yesterday, the Senate upheld President Clinton's veto of the ban on
so-called partial birth abortions.
Senator John Warner voted to override the veto, but Senator Chuck Robb voted
to sustain it.

Helicopters and dogs were called to aid a police chase early this morning
that ended with a police cruiser being totalled.
Police say Christopher Thomas Hutcherson was wanted on felony charges in
Pittsylvania County.
When Radford City Police tried to serve the warrants, Hutcherson fled.
Police gave chase-- and Hutcherson ran head on into a state police trooper.
The trooper was not seriously injured.
Helicopters and the canine unit were called to assist when Hutcherson
crashed his car and fled on foot.
He is now being held on several charges in addition to his initial felony.

But some former employees tell News-7 the feds have been asking questions
about altered time sheets.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, they said investigators also wanted to
know about what the ex-employees call a common practice at ARCOVA of taking
money from one project to pay for another, and to pay company overhead.
The ex-employees say ARCOVA has secured more than 100 contracts to engineer
products such as software and robotics, mostly with government agencies, using
taxpayer dollars.
