A fire department official says ambulances are parked along the

Navy and police helicopters are also looking for survivors.

Lynchburg police have made an arrest in a string of robberies.
30-year old Willie James Raven Junior has been charged with three counts of
robbery in Lynchburg and Campbell County.
Authorities say Raven robbed two bakery thrift stores and the Star Value

He is a suspect in several other robberies in the area.
Raven is being held on a 45- thousand dollar bond.

manufacturing equipment to a Polish company.
A new company called Rad-panel will be formed to operate the equipment at a
facility in Poland.

And Virginia Tech Library Systems has signed an agreement to provide
software and support services to 24 Polish libraries.
The deal represents an EXPANSION of the company's Polish market. The
University of Warsaw currently uses V-T-L-S software.
