Prosecutors say two trials would be too cumbersome and expensive.
They say, nearly all of the evidence applies to both suspects, so this should be a joint trial.

Yesterday the Rockbridge County sheriff seized his motorcycle and other equipment, just one day after the stuntman was arrested on a charge of being drunk in public.

Roanoke Police officers were involved in an early morning high speed chase that ended in a crash.

Around 1 this morning, an officer reportedly spotted a suspicious van near the trash transfer station in Southeast Roanoke.
When the officer attempted to pull the van over, the driver reportedly sped off.
The chase covered three miles and ended when the suspect ran head on into a telephone pole in Northeast Roanoke.
A Police officer was wounded during the chase when the suspect reportedly hit his car.
The suspect was taken to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.
No word yet on his condition or if any charges have been filed.

Hewitt also pled guilty to aggravated malicious wounding, for shooting Brenda Tomlin.

Roanoke Regional Airport is expecting an on-time arrival of federal funds slated for a its new construction.

But her trip almost turned tragic when a propane tank exploded at her daughter's trailer.
Trapped inside the burning home was one- year- old Beth Lindsay.
