((Tropical Storm Josephine lashed the Florida panhandle with 70 mile an hour winds. As the storm approached the tallahassee area, officials ordered the evacuation of beaches and barrier islands. Josephine's wrath was felt early. a morning tornado in Naples, Florida blew out windows of the police station and a local car dealer.
Meanwhile to the east, flooding was the problem. Some Jacksonville streets became impassable. And on the Atlantic ocean, stormy seas drove a disabled fishing trawler aground. The two crew members jumped for safety.
Forecasters say Josephine probably wont reach hurricane strength. and the storm is expected to lose strength as she passes over Georgia and heads up the east coast.
