ads in a Senate campaign.
Since June, he has spent about

The Washington Post says Warner passed the previous mark -- four million

The campaign finance reports won't be filed until later this month. But
Warner aides confirmed the figure.

A weekend accident in Buchanan County leaves one woman dead.
Police say the driver of the car was going too fast and lost control on
route 647, 2 miles north of 646, near Hurley.
The vehicle overturned and the passengers were ejected.
Margaret Ann McCoi ((McCoy)) of Hurley was taken to Buchanan General, where
she later died.
The condition of the other two passengers and the driver has not been
released.
