beach erosion. Thousands of people evacuated coastal communities and hundreds
are spending the night in shelters in Florida.

Police say Stocks was in a stolen car- They clocked him at about 90 miles an

would be hurt.
But authorities say the 18-year old kept going... and rammed into 2 other
vehicles.
29-year old Timothy Mays was killed in the crash.

Lynchburg police say the theft of four canisters of nitrous oxide over the
weekend is no laughing matter.
Someone broke into a storage area at Lynchburg General Hospital and removed
the tanks, each weighing about 200 pounds.
Authorities say the nitrous oxide, commonly known as "laughing gas", can be
deadly if inhaled in great amounts.
There's also a danger of explosion if the canisters are dropped.
Anyone with information about the theft should call the Lynchburg police.

meeting of the Chesapeake Executive Council.
The Chesapeake Bay's state leaders will discuss a proposal to plant
two-thousand acres of trees around the bay and its tributaries.

pollutants. But he's concerned about the numerical goal.

but Jerome Bettis rumbles into the end zone from the 5 yard run to give the
Steelers a 14-6 lead after the 2 point conversion.
