A judge today appointed a lawyer to represent James Reid on murder charges.
Police are awaiting forensic test results to decide whether to also charge
him with rape.
An autopsy today revealed 90 year old Annie Lester was beaten and stabbed to
death.
Her body was found in the bedroom of her home on Saturday.
Investigators wrote on a search warrant affidavit that blood on Reid's
jacket and wounds on Lester's chest were consistent with sexual assault.

running car.

Somehow the 7 year old girl and five year old boy put the car into gear and
sent it circling wildly in reverse.
The kids were able to jump out but the car just kept on going- for more
than an hour- at one point coming dangerously close to a power source.
Finally the car blew a tire ann stopped on a neighbors lawn.
