Lester's body was found inside her home Saturday. An autopsy revealed she was beaten and repeatedly stabbed across her body.
Today a judge appointed a lawyer to represent Reid, who so far is charged ONLY with murder.
In an affidavit to search Reid's home, investigator Barry O'Rourke wrote that the wounds on Lester's chest, and a large amount of blood on the chest area of REID'S jacket are consistent with a sexual assault.
O'Rourke also wrote that the condition of the bedroom where Lester lay dead was consistent with sexual assault as well.
Forensics tests will have to determine if she was in fact raped.
