They'll have to start over in the trial of two white police officers charged with killing a black motorist in Pittsburgh.

Johhnny Gammage was killed when he was pulled over by police last October.
The judge declared a mistrial today because of improper testimony from a coroner.
The coroner demanded that one of the officers explain his actions.
The law does not require defendants to testify in their own defense.
The judge said the coroner's remarks were too serious to be ignored. A new trial will begin in two months.

Veronica Via will spend the next 20 years behind bars.
A Roanoke Circuit Court jury convicted the 28-year old Roanoke woman of first degree murder in the fatal beating of her two week old daughter Jasmine, last December.
The jury deliberated for almost two hours before recommending the 20 year sentence shortly before nine tonight.
