Christopher Shawn Wheeler for the murder of a sheriff's deputy in December of
19-94.

Peters... hoping to bring him outside without anyone getting hurt.
Then they made the decision to force him out of the house.

The Justice Department wants a federal judge to order Virginia Military
Institute to explain its coeducation plans.
The department has requested a hearing for November 13th in federal court in
Roanoke.
But the state apparently does not think it has to produce a detailed plan to
admit women.
Such a plan might go into things like whether keeping the school's strict
physical training requirements poses a hindrance to female cadets.
