Stumping in Alabama and Florida, the Republican candidate didn't discuss the subject.
Meantime, Perot also took aim at President Clinton--
He said Clinton faces moral, ethical and criminal problems likely to force him from office if he wins a second term.
Clinton's camp had little reaction to the comments-- rather, the President spent the day campaigning in Louisiana and Alabama.

In the hours before Ross Perot rejected offers from the Dole camp, Republican National Committee Chairman Haley Barbour told a Richmond fundraiser there's only one way President Clinton can win.
According to Barbour, that's if Perot stays in the race and splits the vote.
But new poll numbers from The Washington Post show Clinton has a 22 point lead over Dole, and Perot with only eight percent.

(( Defense lawyers are dissecting Nicole Brown's life and the image they're presenting is not flattering. Robert Baker's opening argument includes stories about promiscuity, parties with drugs and prostitutes. Then there was an abortion after he said she got pregnant during a relationship following her divorce from O.J. Simpson. Baker said, she confided in Simpson about the pregnancy, that he was her friend and confident, not an angry stalker. ((LORI LEVINSON: INSTEAD OF JUST RESTORING O.J.'S CHARACTER, HE WENT AHEAD AND ATTACKED THE VICTIM. )) It was too much for Nicole's mother and sister Denise, who left the courtroom in the middle of Baker's statement. The defense statement followed the last plaintiff lawyer, who said Simpson had an uncontrollable rage regarding Nicole, that he was obsessed with her and wanted to know her every move. Simpson listened to the lawyer, sometimes rolled his eyes, shook his head and apparently mouthed, that's not true. The next step: calling witnesses. The plaintiff's will be first and they'll try to do what prosecutors couldn t: show that O.J. Simpson had a motive and enough time to kill Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman.
