The owners of two convenience stores robbed that night also said it was Barker who threatened THEM with a gun.
Barker is already serving time for his part in the murder, but has testified Ben Lilly pulled the trigger.
Ben's younger brother Mark, who still awaits trial for the crime spree, told POLICE Ben was the shooter.
The jury is expected to begin deliberations tomorrow.

A Halifax County man says he was scared for his life the night he shot and killed his roommate.

Barry Dwight Thomas, Junior is charged with killing 33- year old Anthony Meadows in March at the trailer home they shared.
The two lived there with their girlfriends.
Thomas testified Meadows had been arguing with both women, when he grabbed a gun and asked Meadows to leave.
Thomas told the jury Meadows then lunged at him, and he fired the gun.
Prosecutors pointed to inconsistencies in Thomas' story and that of his girlfriend.
A verdict is expected tonight.

Authorities still don't know what led to the fight. There were actually three fights going on at the same time.

A pick-up and a sport utility vehicle collided on route 221 near Mount Chestnut Drive.
One of the vehicles left the highway and overturned.
Two people were taken to the hospital, but their injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The accident closed the road in both directions for more than half an hour.

Ross Perot today publicly rejected any suggestion from the Dole campaign that he drop out-- and declared he'd stay in the presidential race "to the bitter end."

At a Richmond fundraiser just hours earlier, Republican National Committee Chairman Haley Barbour had made the case for Perot to withdraw.
Barbour says a vote for Perot is a vote for Clinton.
He says the only way Clinton can win is if Perot splits the vote.
That comment comes despite the 22 point advantage Clinton holds over Dole in the latest Washington Post poll.
Barbour told Virginia Republicans he's confident Bob Dole is going to win in the Old Dominion.

The Roanoke Valley Preservation Foundation has compiled a list of the 10 most endangered places here in Southwestern Virginia.

A number of structures top the list... like the Burke Cabin on Clay Street in Salem.
Another building in trouble-- the Claytor Clinic in the Historic Gainsboro.

And they fear the Roanoke River is being degraded by pollution and poor planning.

Now it's been expanded to include a 25-thousand square-foot visitor's center with its own museum, auditorium and research center.
The additional facilities have boosted the price by two million dollars.

Bedford Delegate Lacy Putney pushed a 200-thousand dollar appropriation through the House.

The check's been a long time getting to Bedford, but Putney presented it to the D-Day foundation chairman today.
