On December 5th his son, Alexander, was carjacked and then shot to death in
the Whitethorne section of Montgomery County.
There were three arrests that night-- Ben Lilly, his brother Mark, and THEIR
friend, Gary Barker.
In August, Barker pleaded guilty as an accessory to murder.
He was sentenced to 53 years in prison... and was forced to testify at Ben
Lilly's trial.
This past Tuesday, he told the court it was Ben Lilly's idea to abduct
Defillipis... and that it was Lilly's who actually pulled the trigger.
The jury believed him.
Now Defillipis' father says capital murder warrants capital punishment.

contracting the disease....from the legionella bacteria, which is EVERYWHERE.
That's why identifying the source of this outbreak could be slow-going.
Also, many people who've had pneumonia in recent weeks may also be asked to

were killed in a traffic accident.

Qualifying for the second to last Winston Cup race of the year was
postponed today because of heavy winds at the Phoenix track.
The news was worse for Terry Labonte. The points leader broke a bone

in his wrist during practice for Sunday's Dura-Lube 500 at Phoenix
International Raceway.
Labonte will be outfitted with special equipment so he can grip the wheel
of his Monte Carlo. he is expected to race Sunday.

recovering from additional cancer surgery after doctors removed two malignant
lesions from his brain this week.
