Welcome everybody to Friday Football extra, Week number 11, the final week of the regular season.
Once again Mother Nature has played a role in the action, but we were still able to round up nine big games for you on this edition of Friday Football Extra.
Plus, at the end's of the show we'l take a unofficial look at the upcoming playoffs and see how things stack up in Division One through 6.
SS=Giles/shawsville

But first we begin the highlights up in Giles County where the temperatures dropped right along with visiting Shawsville.
(----------------)
VO-NAT ENG#
SUPER=51-Pearisburg/Shawsville vs. Giles; :00

Not even a cold wind and rain could keep the die hard Spartan fans home tonight in Pearisburg.
But Shawsville looked sharp early in the game as Chris Graham. the former player of the week, turns in a 37 yard run for a big first down for the Shawnees.
Giles then turned up the heat on defense as Brian Caswell attempts to catch this pass, but instead catches Matt Whitehead's hit instead. Now that really feels good on a cold night!
The Spartans offense then got busy with Chris Ratcliffe tiptoes in from a couple of yards away to make it 8-to-nothing.
SUPER=52-Shawsville/14/Giles/42;

Steve Ragsdale's team would light up the scoreboard one more time, as Shawn Vaught gets the call and scores from five yards away and Giles wins the Three Rivers and completes another unbeaten season with the 42 to 14 win over Shawsville.

We pick up the action in the second quarter with the Comets keeping it surprisingly close.
Carlos Jackson whips one to Dante Medley, the pass is tipped into the hands of Comet teammate Greg Wilson and all of a sudden Halifax County is on top 14-to-10.
But in the third, GW's Chanceton Rogers takes it in on the short run to put Danville in front by 10 at 24-to-14.
In the fourth quarter, Jackson will toss another pass, this one to Michael Chapell and he will hand it to Donte Medley, who then passes it back to CHappell for the TD. The razzle-dazzle cuts the lead to 24-to-21.
