from a gunshot wound according to an autopsy report.

shot once in the head.
Gilliam and 34- year- old Dennis Oxford were found dead in the burned out
van behind the Lynchburg newspaper office.
Oxford died of smoke inhalation.
Police say Oxford blamed Gilliam for a medical problem he had.
Oxley refused to say what that problem was, or even if Gilliam had one,
citing patient confidentiality.

Prosecutor Ed Meeks told the jury that was all they needed to convict 45-

An expert testified at least two other men had sex with Burge in the hours
before she died.
