Health officials investigated numerous possible sources, but narrowed it down even more when DNA from bacteria in the tub's filter matched cultures taken from a Legionnaires patient.
The tub was dismantled in the second week of October...and Lowes is permanently draining tubs at all of its more than 300 stores.

Another stiff sentence has been handed to Michael Obremski... the man who made threatening phone calls to a number of young girls in the Roanoke Valley.

That's in addition to the 15- and- a half- years he received in Roanoke County.
Just last month, Obremski pleaded guilty to similar charges in Roanoke City... and admitted to being the Raleigh Court stalker.
He faces 45 more years in prison for those charges.

N-S claims if the deal goes through, 64 cities served by two railroads would only have one.
N-S adds if IT were to merge with Conrail, competitive rail service would be preserved.

A mail carrier in Altavista has been officially charged with stealing money from the letters in his mail bag.
A federal grand jury says the 39- year- old Mark C. Osborne took 11-dollars from one woman's mail in Altavista, plus five dollars each, -from two women in Hartwood ...all on the same day: September 24th.
Osborne is also accused of delaying or making off with more than 10-thousand pieces of mail over the past two years.
