Russia's failed space probe to Mars has crashed into the Pacific Ocean near Easter Island, eliminating a remote danger of nuclear contamination.
Australian officials say pieces of the probe crashed about 620 miles west of South America at 8:30 tonight.

The rocket was supposed to land on mars and explore the planet's surface, but the control center lost contact with the probe after it was launched.
Russian officials wouldn't say what went wrong.

A passerby noticed the reddish colored material around 10- this morning near the intersection of Broad and Aaron Streets.

Church members weren't forced to sell, but the redevelopment left them with no parking or direct access to the church.
The Housing and Redevelopment Authority bought up most of the property in this northeast neighborhood.
Meadows says the prices were less than fair.
But the financial loss wasn't what hurt Meadows the most.

For the second year in a row, Clinch Valley has landed a spot in the N-A-I-A division two Playoffs.
The Cavaliers ended a perfect 10 and 0 season with a win over Tusculum College yesterday.
Clinch Valley will open the playoffs against West Minister of Pennsylvania next Saturday in Coeburn.
