but authorities say they don't believe there's a link to a recent outbreak in
the New River Valley.
The newest victim is at Lynchburg General Hospital.
No information is available about him, at his family's request.
The source of the New River Valley outbreak was pinpointed last week as a
hot tub at a building supply store in Christiansburg.
16 cases were diagnosed in that outbreak, including one death.

dumped him over a creek bank, where he died of exposure.
Defense attorney Lee Chitwood told the jury it was "a decision born in a
haze of alcohol, motivated by childish and irrational fears."
Hibbs is expected to testify.
His co-defendants, Eric Ball and Eric Wimmer are scheduled for trial later.
