A case of Legionnaire's disease has been confirmed in central Virginia -- but authorities say they don't believe there's a link to a recent outbreak in the New River Valley.
The newest victim is at Lynchburg General Hospital.
No information is available about him, at his family's request.
The source of the New River Valley outbreak was pinpointed last week as a hot tub at a building supply store in Christiansburg.
16 cases were diagnosed in that outbreak, including one death.

Stoneman's FIFTEEN- year- old son was with his father at the time. He's expected to be a key witness for the prosecution.

Authorities say Coleman got drunk and destructive at Hibbs home last January, so Hibbs punched him out.
Hibbs and two other friends allegedly drove Coleman to a remote road, and dumped him over a creek bank, where he died of exposure.
Defense attorney Lee Chitwood told the jury it was "a decision born in a haze of alcohol, motivated by childish and irrational fears."
Hibbs is expected to testify.
His co-defendants, Eric Ball and Eric Wimmer are scheduled for trial later.
