He is now pleading guilty to murder and abduction.

The 20- year- old Wythe County man was on trial for the death of Ricky Lee
Coleman.
Hibbs said he punched Coleman after the 17- year- old got drunk and
destructive at his house last January. Hibbs testified he and two friends
later stuffed the moaning teenager in the trunk of a car, drove him to a remote
road and dumped him over a creek bank. Coleman died from a combination of
the alcohol and exposure.
Hibbs testified he thought Coleman would sober up and go home, and said he
was sorry that he died.

shaft.
A smoke filled stairway trapped about a dozen people on the 11th floor and
firefighters deployed ladders to try to bring them to safety.
One man jumped to escape the flames, others victims were lifted to safety
by helicopter.
Some 150 firefighters responded to fight the blaze.

A second bomb has been discovered in the Philippines where President Clinton
and other leaders will meet next week.
A bomb was found in an unattended travel bag in the arrival area of the
Manila airport.
That bomb was discovered hours after a pipe bomb was found at the former U-S
naval base where 18 leaders will meet Monday for the Asia-Pacific Economic
Cooperation summit.
There are conflicting reports that the second bomb was part of a drill.

crashed into two cars that were stopped behind it.
The impact pushed cars forward, hitting the back of the bus.
No one on the bus was hurt, but five people in the other vehicles,
including the pickup driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital.
There's no word on how badly they're hurt.
