A check of Farmer's criminal record reveals he was charged several times for

But documents prove automakers were well aware of the dangers airbags posed
to children and small adults.
But it wasn't until now
the automakers were forced to anythng about it.

So, among other things, the National Highway Traffic Safety Admnistration
is proposing new, less forceful airbags to be installed in new cars by next
year. strongly worded warning labels are to be put on all new crs within three
months, and on all baby sets within 6 months.
And it has even gone so far as to recommend that manufactureres be allowed
to disconnect the airbgs, at the customer's requests. a drastic move some say,
one manufactureres believe won't be used
