A jail sentence has been handed down to the football coach at Lord Botetourt High School.
Andy Ward will serve a total of 14 days,-- two this weekend, the rest over the Christmas holiday.
Earlier this year Ward was twice convicted of D-U-I.
At that time his license was suspended, and so was his jail sentence.

In August, a deputy clocked him doing 90 on Route 4-60... he was driving with a suspended license.
Yesterday he pleaded guilty.

The Assistant Principal at Lord Botetourt highschool says he was not aware of Ward's past convictions, or of yesterday's trial.
He said Ward simply asked for the day off.
So far, Ward's status as coach has not changed.

Food bank officials say suppliers are not overproducing, cutting back on the number of donated birds.

off.

The defense claims Chapman is innocent.
