And Danville police are investigating another suspicious death today.
A man was shot and killed in his home early this morning.
Willie Troy Kernodle was found in his home on Ross Street with gunshot wounds to the chest.
He was taken to Danville Regional Memorial Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are still looking for a suspect.

On Tuesday, the bodies of Jessie and Elizabeth Kendrick were found inside their Springfield Road home.
They were both shot in the head... and authorities believe they had been dead for several days before they were discovered.
A window had been pried open and their car had been stolen.

But one member told News- 7 this afternoon that only the superintendent has the authority to confirm the action.

A local hunter remains in stable condition... after he was accidentally shot yesterday in Franklin County.
Sheriff's deputies say Eric Reynolds and Michael Turner were hunting deer together, when Reynolds mistakenly fired a round at Turner.
The victim remains at Roanoke Memorial Hospital after undergoing surgery.
Reynolds has been charged with reckless handling of a firearm.

Police have filed charges against three Bedford Middle School eighth-graders for possessing or distributing the prescription stimulant Ritalin.
Two 13-year-old boys face charges of Ritalin distribution and a 14-year-old faces a charge of Ritalin possession.
The three, along with a fourth boy, also were suspended from school last week.
School officials say one of the boys had a prescription for the drug and brought it to school.
Authorities say the boys were planning to distribute the drug.
Ritalin is most often prescribed to treat Attention Deficit Disorder.
It also is a popular street drug.
