Roanoke's Mill Mountain star is buring red for 48 hours after a death in a drunk driving related accident.
Donald Ray Fuller of Glade Hill died Sunday from injuries he suffered in an accident on November 15th.
Fuller was a passenger in a pickup truck when the vehicle he was riding in ran off the road on Route 40 in Franklin County.
State police say alcohol was involved in the accident.

A Galax woman was killed in a car crash.
Police say it happened yesterday when 34- year- old- Vivian Lynn Nichols was driving down route 58. She failed to stop at a stop sign and hit another vehicle.
Nichols was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Kendricks' daughter was apparently in town for Thanksgiving and notified police after she could not get anyone to the door.

There are conflicting reports out today as to whether Lord Botetourt High School Coach Andy Ward has been suspended.
The Roanoke Times is reporting that School Board Chairman Jim Ruhland and board member Michael Beahm say that Ward was suspended.

Both men denied that report this morning saying only Superintendent Robert Reece could confirm if Ward has been suspended. Reece is out of town for the holiday.
Ward got a two week jail sentence for speeding, and for driving with a license that was restricted because of two drunk driving charges.
Teachers at Lord Botetourt have been holding classroom discussion about the incident.
One student told us what her classmates are saying.

Radford fire officials agree that one of their own SHOULD have been fired.
Tommy Long was charged with driving under the influence of drugs last Thursday and has been suspected of drug use in the past.
His arrest came when the fire engine he was driving hit a parked police car.
He was fired Thursday.

Several sources who did not wish to be identified said Long's termination is overdue.
Fire chief Martin Roberts says there's only been one other incident in the three year's HE'S been chief.
He wrote Long a letter last Spring telling him to straighten up, or he'd be fired. He says there were no other problems until the accident last Thursday.
State police say Long admitted he had taken prescription medication, and that Roberts remarked at the accident scene that he could tell Long was quote "snockered."
