This afternoon the faculty approved a new hazing policy, that holds individual students responsible for hazing activities.
Past policies only targeted the organization involved.
The university has been working on the policy since last year, but hazing problems found the national spotlight last month.

Two men from Marion were killed this morning during a collision near Interstate 81 in Wythe County.
State Police say 18- year- old Jason Allan Williams was driving a pick-up truck northbound on state route six-58.
Williams apparently crossed the center line and hit the pick- up driven by 31- year- old Harold Lewis Crook.
Authorities say both men were killed instantly.
