prosecuted Jacob Beard.
Franklin's claims aren't new. They were excluded from Beard's trial as
hearsay.
But now Franklin says he's willing to testify, and state police have
indicated they will take a fresh look at the evidence.

Until today, same sex marriages in Hawaii have only been symbolic.
The state argued allowing gay couples to actually tie the knot wouldn't be
in the best interest of children.
Congress was worried if Hawaii allowed same-sex marriages, the practice
would spread to other states.
So this fall, it passed the Defense of Marriage Act.
Under the law, gay marriages performed in Hawaii will not be recognized by
the federal government or other states, if they so chose.

Both diseases have a high animal death rate.

December 14th, to make sure they are disease free.

But first, Richlands head football coach Dennis Vaught is back in the news.
The controversial coach is the subject of an internal investigation ordered
by Tazewell County School superintendent Woodrow Mullins.
At question, is whether or not Vaught ordered his players to injure Grundy
star quarterback, Jason Copenhaver and lineman Luke Owens during their October
4th game.
Attorney Ronald King, who represents both players forwarded the allegations
to Mullins, but at this time says no litigation against the coach is planned.
Copenhaver suffered a partial tear of the medial collateral ligament in his
RIGHT knee in the game.
The Tazewell school board meets next Monday, December 9th, no word on whether
any action will be taken at that time.
