of the charges yesterday.

killing 32- year- old Joseph Siffert Junior and his girlfriend, Barbara
Hackney.
The couple was shot in November of last year in the presence of their infant

Martin is also charged with killing his wife, Marion.
Yesterday, a Halifax County judge found Martin guilty of second degree
murder in that case.
The judge will begin hearing evidence this morning to determine whether

A bunch of carts are now doing winter duty at the mall.
They're part of the Tanglewood Mall Shuttlebug Service offered this holiday
season.
The mall manager came up with the idea.
She used golf carts at another mall where she worked security.
The shuttlebug service was a logical transition.
