off. NO additional accumulations are expected.
The roads are slick tonight though.
V-Dot is recommending people stay off the roads tonight.
So far the ONLY school closings for tomorrow are Botetourt County- and Day
Spring Christian Academy.

The first "real" snowfall of the season has already left a bad taste in the
mouths of many motorists today.
Traffic was tied-up on major roads for several hours.

Only one lane of traffic is open on the southbound lanes of Route 2-20 near
the Roanoke County and Franklin County line.
Earlier today two- tractor trailers jack knifed...closing both lanes
completely for about two hours.

First, one football note. Orlando Pace is the first two-time winner of the

A choir from the Roanoke Valley upstaged Patti Labelle and other performers
today at the national tree lighting ceremony in Washington.
The Roanoke College Children's Choir was making its second appearance at
"the Pageant of Peace."
Despite miscues in some other performances, the choir's part went off
without a hitch.
