A state official admits some fingerprints from the 19-85 murders of Derek
and Nancy Haysom have been lost.
But Officials say such losses are not unheard of in cases that old.
However, Jens Soering, convicted of the killings, believes the missing
prints could help prove his innocence.
The fingerprints were never identified.
And Soering says they could point to someone else.
Soering gets a court hearing next week on a claim that prosecutors withheld
