A search is underway for the person who murdered a New York City man and dumped his body in Amherst County.

Yesterday, investigators with the regional homicide squad traveled to the spot where Vincent Lee (SHUL-ter-brant's) Schulterbrandt's body was found by a highway worker.
The 24- year- old Bronx resident had been shot once in the head.
It appeared he had been dead for several days.
The car that police believe (SHUL-ter-brant) was driving had been found in Lynchburg Tuesday.
Its front passenger seat was covered with blood.

A quick reminder to be very careful on the roads today.
State police report a number of minor accidents.
V-Dot officials say traffic is slow in Franklin County on route 220. A tractor trailer accident has closed one lane.
Overall they say that main roads should be clear, but secondary roads still have some snow.

A construction worker fell to his death yesterday while doing work at an elementary school.

Larry LUCK-a-doo was installing a metal frame on a set of windows at G-W Carver Elementary school.
According to management at Jeffco- the company LUCK-a-doo was working for- Lucadoo slipped and fell about 20 feet.
The 48- year- old landed on his head on a concrete sidewalk.
