A former Halifax elementary school teacher convicted of possessing crack
cocaine could spend up to ten years in prison.
Dorothy Ferrell was found guilty this afternoon and immediately taken to
jail.

authorities found crack cocaine and a pipe used to smoke it in her car.
Ferrell's attorney pointed the finger at someone else, saying Pauline Rues

Authorities refer to the area as an open air drug market.
