(wall-TEX) division of the foam and rubber products company.
Rescue personnel say "everyone's been accounted for".
A person at Rubatex confirmed that an "incident" has taken place at Waltex,
and the company- fire brigade has been dispatched.

There was another fire at the Waltex plant back in May where a compound used
to make foam rubber ignited.
The building's sprinkler system extinguished the blaze, but heavy smoke
filled the structure.

Brigadier General Gabriel Wharton built it in 1870 on land obtained from is

Kollmorgen donated the property and the city of Radford is footing the bill
for the renovations.
The Radford Heritage Foundation will oversee the project.
One of the first jobs is repairing the roof, then the work moves inside
where many of the original fixtures still remain.
The foundation wants the house restored to its original state, so it will be
some time before the doors are opened to tourists.
