There has been an explosion and subsequent fire at the Rubatex plant down
the street.
Numerous county emergency crews have been dispatched to the Waltex
(wall-TEX) division of the foam and rubber products company.
Rescue personnel say "everyone's been accounted for".
A person at Rubatex confirmed that an "incident" has taken place at Waltex,
and the company- fire brigade has been dispatched.

614, last month.
The Henry County Sheriff's Department has little to go on.
The robber was wearing a ski mask when he forced his way in, tied the

After searching the residence, the suspect forced Mrs. Fernandez to empty
the safe at the couple's convenience store-- a couple of miles away.
Nearly three- thousand dollars is being offered for information.

for the renovations.
The Radford Heritage Foundation will oversee the project.
One of the first jobs is repairing the roof, then the work moves inside
where many of the original fixtures still remain.
