A hotly contested special election in our area has drawn the attention of people across the Commonwealth.
At stake; control of the state Senate.
On Tuesday, voters will decide who will fill Virgil Goode's vacant seat.
If voters pick Roscoe Reynolds, the chamber will have an equal number of Democrats and Republicans, with Democratic Lieutenant Governor Don Beyer holding the tie- breaking vote.
If voters choose Allen Dudley, the Senate will have a Republican majority for the first time in the Commonwealth's history.
Denise Allen reports on the candidates' last minute efforts to get an edge in what many call a tight race.
