Blacksburg police have charged two players with rape and sodomy.
Senior starting fullback Brian Edmonds and wide receiver James Crawford are
both under arrest this evening.
Their bond is set at 45 thousand dollars.
The alleged offense occurred in the early morning hours of December 14th at
an apartment complex in Blacksburg.

school bus collided with a tractor trailer this morning.

The accident happened at the intersection of Read Mountain Road and
Cloverdale Road.
The TRUCK driver said he was unable to stop for a red light, and he clipped

When firefighters got to the woman it was too late. She had already died.
The rest of the family- including three children, their mother and step
father were able to get out.
The cause of the collapse has not been determined.
But inspectors said recent rains may have been a factor.
Neighbors also said a truck rammed into the house two months ago leaving a
hole in building.
