A Floyd County man died in an early morning accident yesterday.
Police say 37- year- old Terry Amos Peters of Check was driving down route 2-21 just north of route 3-42 in Floyd County, when he lost control of his pick-up truck.
Peters apparently ran off the right side of the road, over-corrected then crossed both lanes and struck an embankment.
Peters was thrown from the truck and police say he died at the scene.
