The decision to suspend the players was made early this evening following
rape charges against the two players.
The alleged rape victim told NEWS-7 she was at Edmonds' and Crawford's
apartment for a party Friday night.
She says she was intoxicated, and after everyone else left, the players took
advantage of her.
The woman says when she realized they were raping her, she began yelling for
help.
She says she went back to confront them later, because she wanted to hurt
them like they had hurt her.
Edmonds and Crawford say they are the victims.
Their attorney filed a suit seeking 32-million dollars in damages-- because
of the effect criminal charges could have on the player's possible N-F-L
careers.
