A Montgomery County man has died of Legionnaires' Disease.
The 55-year-old man was the only remaining hospitalized case after the recent Legionnaires' outbreak in the New River Valley.
He had been hospitalized at the Salem V-A Medical Center since October.
A total of 16 cases of legionella pneumonia were confirmed in that outbreak.
Two people died-- all other hospitalized patients have since been discharged and are doing well.

He was held for three months in North Korea- but was released last month and returned home.

His father says his son was wandering, tormented by drugs and booze and never finding his place.
Hunziker was shot once.
Police say it was apparently suicide- although no note was found.

Apparently not.
In a move that stunned Republicans, the National Rifle Association made a last minute endorsement of Reynolds.
The group says Dudley has a pro-gun record, but Reynolds actually sponsored Virgil Goode's expansion of the concealed weapons bill on the House side.
But Reynolds won by an almost five thousand vote margin, with heavier than expected turnout -- and it's unlikely the NRA's responsible for all those votes.

Speaking of hot, in Double A, Liberty has picked up where it left off from last year's state championship year. Counting this year's 4 and OH start Mark Hanks' minutemen have won 29 in a row.
The Burg's are putting a first year dent in the Blue Ridge. Christiansburg beat Northside last night and Blacksburg topped salem in triple overtime.
Bill Pope's schedule has been tough early which accounts from the Vikings slow o and 3 start, count on football qaurterback Xavier Lee to rally the team.
In single A Parry McCluer's 5 and OH start brings back memories of their 1994 state runner up year,
