A Montgomery County man has died of Legionnaires' Disease.
The 55-year-old man was the only remaining hospitalized case after the recent Legionnaires' outbreak in the New River Valley.
He had been hospitalized at the Salem V-A Medical Center since October.
A total of 16 cases of legionella pneumonia were confirmed in that outbreak.
Two people died-- all other hospitalized patients have since been discharged and are doing well.

Apparently not.
In a move that stunned Republicans, the National Rifle Association made a last minute endorsement of Reynolds.
The group says Dudley has a pro-gun record, but Reynolds actually sponsored Virgil Goode's expansion of the concealed weapons bill on the House side.
But Reynolds won by an almost five thousand vote margin, with heavier than expected turnout -- and it's unlikely the NRA's responsible for all those votes.

Today, officials said they've raised more than five and half million dollars, almost eight percent over last year.
