A Montgomery County man has died of Legionnaires' Disease.
The 55- year- old man was the only remaining hospitalized case after the recent Legionnaires' outbreak in the New River Valley.
He had been hospitalized at the Salem V-A Medical Center since October.
A total of 16 cases of legionella pneumonia were confirmed in that outbreak.
Two people died-- all other hospitalized patients have since been discharged and are doing well.
